Airport Connect is a bus service offered by Sun Palm Transport linking Cairns Airport with the Translink public transport network at north and southbound Sheridan Street bus stops. Estimated departure time from the airport is every 30 minutes between 0430hrs and the last flight of the day.

The bus service in Cairns is provided by Sunbus and services the suburbs, beaches and city with nearly all routes starting at the Cairns City Mall.
